tremors

just heard on the news that the christchurch cathedral might have some cracks from the big quake on the weekend. i suppose it's pretty amazing that it could survive unscathed while many historic buildings are being bulldozed. it looks like quite a mess! apparently there are still some significant tremors going on and smaller ones even up in the north island, luckily none here.
