tomorrow i trek out with andrew (another massey student and our bug and frog consultant at te manawa) to collect southern bell frog tadpoles from tangimoana beach. i'll be raising them in the curatorial office so that we have a group of frogs to go into their new enclosure in the river exhibit. i was getting pretty excited about putting it all together and nearly everyone in the surrounding offices was taking in interest and poking their heads in to ask whether the tadpoles had arrived yet!
so before i left i made sure to put together a good display for everyone at the office :) it will be fun to have some wet little pets.
