just a preview of some of the photos taken by miriam's friend, gerry, yesterday during our vintage clothes shoot yesterday for a red cross promotion. there was a manawatu standard photographer and reporter there as well so i'm quite interested to see what they came up with. will post more when they come out!

there were so many potential outfits on the racks that i would have styled entirely differently, but alas, i was not in charge, only playing along. it was still good fun.

i have declined to post the full body shot of this outfit (navy palazzo pants that were so tight i had to safety pin them shut - shudder).

/ fave outfit of the day /

i liked this outfit mostly because the bottom half was mine :) the hat was a bit out there, but i enjoyed wearing it. don't think it gets cold enough in palmy to justify it, though.

/ miriam looking like a glam hitchhiker /

had such a great time that we're looking to start a more permanent vintage project, might start with more photos around town, blogging about vintage events, etc. could be quite fun!
